July has arrived hot and full of events to warm our collective hearts.

As we all rally around our National Pride and celebrate our countries' 250th anniversary, the thought of all those who sacrificed so much to give us the freedom to enjoy a blessed and free country is humbling.

We should never allow ourselves to focus so much on our shortcomings that we lose sight of our true potential.

As we are in the beginning stages of the Yotes4Life build out, I am so happy to be part of a group of men who are focused on the player and his family as they transition all seasons of life.

Please continue to lift up the leadership team and their efforts to serve our Brotherhood.

In the last few days, we watched our Brother Mike Miller transition to his eternal home. Mike had been ill for some time and at last fall's reunion he attended and was full of hope. Most of all, he was filled with gratitude for all the teammates and Brotherhood members who had reached out and supported him and his family. We don't say goodbye; it's till we meet again. 

Each one of us is building a legacy. Let us embrace the core values of this group to provide a lifelong spiritual support and honor the legacy of every Yote and walk alongside each other during every season.

United we can stand any challenges that come, so let's all rally around and hold our teammates up in prayer and extend ourselves when and where we can.

Always take time to celebrate the wins as we move through every season of life. Your legacy will not be remembered by losses but rather those you helped as you moved from season to season.

Rejoice and celebrate life, and all the gifts we have been given; especially the gift of lives who have touched us.

Celebrate this great country and remember those who gave us that opportunity.

Pray for all the Yotes who are on campus now preparing for a new season; pray for coaches and their families as they dedicate themselves to these young men.
