April has to be one of my favorite months as of the last several years. This is the month we celebrate our risen Savior and the Lord of Lords.
There is something special about celebrating new life and new beginnings. We have all been given a chance at new life so many times, but we choose poorly at times.
The older we get we begin to see that anything we think we may have accomplished turns out to be the grace of God that allowed our success.
The one choice that determines everything is to accept the gift that was given to us; we receive it freely, but it cost Christ everything. Christianity is the only religion where our God died for us and all He asks in return is that we live for Him. We live for Him in ways that show His love to others and encourage those around us to live a life deserving of His sacrifice.
This past month we learned of Coyote Brother Greg Lyman's passing, and our prayer is that he is at his eternal reward and his family is comforted and cared for.
We also celebrated the birthday of Mike Lee who went home to the Lord last December. Many of us have been in contact with Mike's wife Diane, and she is comforted by the remembrance of so many Brothers.
Very recently we have learned that Coyote Brother Tony Glass had a severe heart attack, has made great progress in his recovery, and will soon have a stint put in. We all continue to lift him up in our prayers that the medical team responsible for his care all function at the highest level of care and Tony makes a full and quick recovery.
Please continue to pray and believe for all our Brothers and their family members who are dealing with health issues. Make time to reach out and encourage one another.
As always continue to pray and believe for the health and safety of our current Coyotes and coaching staff and their families.
