It's harvest season already! Harvest season is not only related to agriculture, but in all the things in life there is a season. In the Book of Ecclesiastes, it reminds us that there is a season to plant and a season to harvest. We can easily apply this to our everyday life. We are constantly planting. At times we are planting good fruit in our actions and into the lives of those around us. Yet there are seeds sown out of anger or poor judgment that also come to harvest. We are responsible for both seeds, and as we grow, we learn to lean on the only one who can instruct us how to plant good seed and pray that he can cause a crop failure on those bad seeds planted.

Another image that comes to mind when thinking about the Yotes4Life mission is found in the Book of John chapter 15 and verse 4 thru verse 7, the image of God being the vine and we are branches grafted into the vine and then there is life and it says we will bear much fruit. This group of men that have come together to serve one another and bring forth the fruit of fellowship and answers to daily needs, is only successful if we keep our focus on the one who we are joined to and have complete trust in God's leading.

Yet another branch is being added to our group in the form of Against The Grain; this is a ministry/resource group that was co-founded by a former Coyote, DeJaun Lewis. We are launching a new initiative on the 15th of this month with this group to rally around each other and our common interests and needs. More details will follow.

As a reminder of our Brothers in need of our support please continue to lift up Darrell Vander Esch's daughter, Riley as well as Dave Hultgren's Grandson and Riley Donovan's brother Matt. All are in need of our continued prayers.

I know that our Brother Joe Morgan's Stepdaughter has had two major losses within a week; her husband and Father passed away.

We also can celebrate that Nick Merrigan is recovering very well, and there are others who are on the mend and getting back in the game!

Never forget the current players and Coaching staff and all those who support the efforts of these young men.

I pray that you are all grafted into the true vine and that you are experiencing a great harvest.
